Elsie’s isn’t just a diner — it’s a tribute to family. The original inspiration came from Elsie and Gordon Graham, who ran a garage-and-diner in the late 1950s called Bayview Motors. Gordon was a trusted mechanic, and Elsie was known for her warm, home-cooked meals. More than fifty years later, their granddaughter Kris Heathers revived their legacy by opening Elsie’s Diner in 2013, paying homage to her grandmother’s spirit and Today, Kris honors that tradition by creating a space where anyone can pull up a chair, share a meal, and feel at home. What started as a small-town gathering place has grown into a beloved local landmark, where stories are shared as often as plates are passed.just like Elsie did all those years ago, the team at Elsie’s Diner serves every guest with warmth, gratitude .
